Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data Korvalis collects, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We keep it short and plain. If anything is unclear, email us and we will explain.

1. Who we are

Korvalis is operated by Mykola (Nick) Krykunov, a sole trader based in the European Union [registered address — to be added]. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the "data controller" of your personal data.

Contact for any privacy question or request: [email protected].

2. What we collect

We keep data collection to the minimum:

  • Waitlist email. When you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you enter. That is the only field we ask for.
  • Basic usage data. If you allow analytics, we collect standard, aggregated usage data (pages visited, approximate region, device and browser type) through Google Analytics. This is used to understand traffic, not to identify you personally.

We do not collect names, payment details, or any special-category data through this website.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To contact you about early access — legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the waitlist form. You can withdraw it at any time (see section 6).
  • To measure and improve the site — legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and keeping it secure.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers ("processors") that make this website work:

  • Web3Forms — delivers and stores waitlist form submissions so we receive your email.
  • Google Analytics (Google) — provides aggregated website usage statistics.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist email until Korvalis launches and for a reasonable period after, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted ("right to be forgotten");
  • restrict or object to how we use it;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting past processing.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Cookies

We use Google Analytics cookies to measure site usage. These load only on the live site, not in development, and none are strictly necessary for the site to work. You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the site.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Korvalis develops. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
